Delhi’s Premier Culinary Celebration Gears Up for Its 12th Edition

New Delhi: Indian Food Freak is all set to bring the 12th edition of The Big F Awards to Le Meridien, Delhi, on 1st October 2025. An initiative by Pawan Soni, this annual celebration has become one of the capital’s most awaited culinary fixtures; an evening that honours exceptional restaurants, chefs, and food creators while staying true to its founding principle: nominees never pay to participate or to win. From intimate bistros to high-profile dining rooms, the awards embrace the full spectrum of Delhi NCR’s food culture. Shortlisted names are decided through a transparent jury system, where jury personally visit nominated venues, taste their signature dishes, and vote once, with no second chances or influence. This year’s distinguished jury comprises Chef Kunal Kapur, Chef Sabyasachi Gorai, Sameer Bawa, RJ Khurafati Nitin, Chef Nita Mehta, Pawan Soni, Rocky Singh, Chef Ashish Bhasin and Diwan Gautam Anand.Speaking ahead of the event, Pawan Soni, Host, Big F Awards, said, “For over a decade, The Big F Awards have celebrated those who transform the act of eating into a lasting memory. This year, we bring together talent that excites, challenges, and redefines how we experience food in Delhi NCR. The 12th edition will spotlight chefs who experiment without losing touch with tradition, restaurateurs who set new service benchmarks, and innovators who inspire with their commitment to excellence. It’s not about scale or glamour alone; it’s about the stories, the ideas, and the consistency behind the plate. We will all gather to acknowledge their work and share their journey.”The ceremony maintains its hallmark element of surprise; the winners remain unknown until they are revealed on stage. All top five nominees in each category are invited, ensuring the evening is a true celebration of community spirit. Guests can expect a night filled with engaging conversations, cross-industry networking, and a collective salute to the people shaping Delhi NCR’s dining story.
