An encounter is underway between security forces and terrorists in the Akhal Devsar area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday and more reinforcement has been rushed to the area to align cordon in backdrop of darkness.Officials said that acting on specific intelligence inputs regarding the presence of terrorists in the forested area of Akhal, a joint anti-terror operation was launched early in the evening by the Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
