Exclusive “We Are in Talks with Karan Johar,” Confirms TG Vishwa Prasad

Top Telugu producer TG Vishwa Prasad has confirmed that his team is in advanced discussions with Bollywood heavyweight Karan Johar regarding the Hindi release of their upcoming superhero film ‘Mirai’. “We are indeed in talks with Dharma Productions to release our big-ticket superhero film Mirai in Hindi, since it has a universal theme,” says Vishwa Prasad. “The discussions are progressing well, and we plan to screen the film for Karan Johar soon.”After the massive success of Karthikeya 2 in the Hindi heartland, the producer is hopeful that Mirai will repeat the magic. “The Hindi-speaking audience has shown a great appetite for fresh superhero content, and Mirai is our next big offering after Karthikeya 2,” he states. When asked whether casting Teja Sajja, known for his breakout role in HanuMan, was a strategic move, he clarifies, “Honestly, we signed Teja even before HanuMan was released. He was cast while the film was still in production because he perfectly fit the ‘underdog-turned-superhero’ role — and he has done a fantastic job.” On the film’s reported budget exceeding ₹60 crore, he laughs it off, saying, “I would avoid quoting numbers.”The producer also reserved special praise for pan-India star Prabhas, calling him “one of the nicest and most down-to-earth actors.” He’s confident that their upcoming film ‘The Raja Saab’ will be a game-changer. “Prabhas will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. While the film will showcase his signature larger-than-life presence, he’ll also display his comic timing — a treat for both mass and family audiences,” he adds. “It’s a technically rich horror comedy that will cast a spell at the box office, not just in India but globally.”On Pawan Kalyan thanking him for extending help in releasing his film ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, ‘We are humbled, he says. Earlier, they made “Bro’ with Pawan Kalyan and would like to work with him again. “Of course, we love to do another film with Pawan Kalyan, but he is busy with his varied commitments. If we get an opportunity, we would do a massive film with him, we are waiting,” he informsTouching on Bollywood plans, TG Vishwa Prasad confirmed early-stage discussions with Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan. “It’s too early to reveal details about our project with Abhishek, but yes, we are planning a full-fledged expansion into Bollywood with three to four Hindi films. We’ve already partnered with Mythri Movie Makers on the Hindi film Jaat, and we’re looking to build further from there,” he concludes.
