Indian mountaineer Narender has climbed Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe, which stands at 5,642 metres. He hoisted the FitIndia flag at the summit, completing a mission linked to the national fitness initiative. Before the expedition, Narender was flagged off by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, along with other officials. He undertook the climb with the intent to promote personal fitness and national awareness. Narender’s climb and the display of the Fit India flag at the peak align with ongoing efforts to encourage health and fitness in the country.
