Nellore: The third day of the 10th Revenue Sports Meet was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the A.C. Subba Reddy Stadium in Nellore.The day’s events were inaugurated by Special Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Ms. G. Jayalakshmi, who launched the sporting activities along with District Collector O. Anand. The opening matches included a shuttle badminton game between the Collectorate and Division teams, held at the Subba Reddy Indoor Stadium. In the women’s category, a volleyball match was flagged off between the Collectorate and Nellore Division teams. Following the matches, medals and prizes were awarded to winners in several track and field events for the women’s 35+ age category: 100m race: Sahitya (1st), Anusha (2nd), Shanthipriya (3rd). 200m race: Sahitya, Haveel, Shanthipriya. Shot put: Shyamala, Anusha, Kavyashri. Discus throw: Sai Sharanya, Sushmita Vadhana. Javelin throw: Shanthipriya, Sai Sharanya, Sushmita Vadhana. Long jump: Sai Sharanya, Sahitya, Jhansi. High jump: Sai Sharanya, Shanthipriya, Haveel. Several dignitaries and officials participated in the event, including District Revenue Officer Hussein Saheb, Revenue Division Officers Anusha Avani and Vamsikrishna, and Revenue Association President A.M. Penchala Reddy, alongside a large number of revenue staff and participants.
