Visakhapatnam:As part of the preparations for the International Yoga Day celebrations to be held in Visakhapatnam on June 21, ‘Surya Namaskar’ will be performed by 3,000 people on Saturday under the auspices of the Ayush department and the district administration.The programme will be organised under the instructions by district collector H.N. Harindher Prasad, said Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai, the regional deputy director of the Ayush department.In a statement on Thursday, she said the programme would be held from 6 am to 7 am on that day on Kali Mata temple premises on RK Beach Road. She said that information had already been given to all the yoga associations in this regard. She appealed to the people and members of various organisations to voluntarily participate in the event and make it a success.
