Visakhapatnam: Parvathipuram Manyam collector A. Shyam Prasad on Tuesday announced that the district administration would conduct special Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) awareness and benefit saturation camps from June 15 to 30, 2025.The collector highlighted that these camps were part of two major national initiatives launched by the Government of India specifically designed to empower tribal communities – the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PMJANMAN) and the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA). “These initiatives aim to saturate services and infrastructure in tribal areas across the country through targeted interventions,” said the collector. “Unlike traditional campaigns, this effort will ensure on-the-ground delivery of entitlements through village-level and cluster-level camps.” The camps will provide tribal residents access to essential documents and services, including Aadhaar cards, ration cards, Ayushman Bharat cards, caste certificates, domicile certificates, Kisan Credit Cards, PM-KISAN enrolment, Jan Dhan cccounts, insurance coverage, social security benefits, employment and livelihood schemes, and women & child welfare programmes.During the campaign period, officials will identify Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) habitations and tribal villages with service gaps, organise village-level benefit camps, ensure convergence with multiple government departments including health, food, panchayati raj, rural development, social justice, agriculture and revenue, involve Common Service Centers for documentation services, prepare district-wise micro plans with monitoring frameworks and implement real-time beneficiary reporting. He emphasised that, “These camps shall operate with active participation of local administration, frontline workers and departmental convergence to ensure that benefits reach eligible tribal individuals and families.”The campaign will involve all line departments to ensure success at the grassroots level, said the collector, adding, field functionaries, especially from the tribal welfare department, had been instructed to closely associate with the initiative.
