Kakinada: Four railway over bridges (RoBs) will come up in Unguturu Assembly constituency at a cost of Rs 450 crore, and the central government has given its approval for this project.Eluru Lok Sabha member Putta Mahesh Kumar said that following the construction of RoBs, many of the traffic hurdles would be cleared. He said that the railways has given administrative approvals for the four RoBs in the constituency. He, along with Unguturu MLA Patsamatla Dharma Raju, Telugu Desam district president Ganni Veeranajaneyulu and others, visited the proposed RoB places on Sunday and enquired of the officials about the land acquisition and other issues. Mahesh Kumar said that he would take steps for speedy completion of RoBs. He said that the RoBs will be constructed at Ungutur, Kaikaram, Chebrolu and Bhimadole areas, and the state government need not spend any funds for the project, as the central government would bear the total funds for it. He said that a permanent solution would be found for traffic problems in these areas if the RoBs are completed.
