Three JeM terrorists were killed in a gunfight that erupted between security forces and terrorists in Awantipora in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. A police official said that security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in the Nader Tral area of Awantipora in south Kashmir following specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists.”On 15 May 2025, based on specific intelligence input from Int agency, a Cordon & Search Operation was launched by #IndianArmy, @JmuKmrPolice and @crpf_srinagar at Nader, Tral, Awantipora. Suspicious activity was observed by vigilant troops and on being challenged, terrorists opened heavy fire and fierce gunfight ensued.
