It has the distinction of having Indigenous systems and equipment which were conceptualised, designed, manufactured & integrated by the Indian scientists, industry and Naval personnel.As reported earlier by TNIE the commissioning of the second nuclear propulsion submarine of the Arihant Class will add strength to underwater strategic capability.
