Hyderabad: During Thumkunta municipal council meeting, near here on Saturday, councillors Venugopal Reddy and Madhusudan Reddy and their followers allegedly attacked municipal vice-chairperson Vani Veera Reddy with chairs during a dispute over a no-confidence motion.It was reported that Vani Reddy had asked for the return of money that had been given for the no-confidence vote. Vani Reddy was reported to have sustained a head injury in the incident that occurred at about 11.30 am.Vani Reddy in her complaint top to the Jeedimetla police mentioned Singireddy Shashikant Reddy, Singireddy Chandrakanth Reddy, Katta Sashidhar Reddy, Banothu Bhupal Reddy and K. Raveender Reddy.
