“Reference allegations of sexual misconduct towards the housemaid by a DSP posted at LBPA Dergaon, a case…has been registered at Dergaon PS… DSP Kiran Nath…has been arrested on the basis of evidence that has come up during investigation of the aforementioned criminal case,” Singh wrote on X, formerly Twitter.“Zero tolerance towards sexual misconduct amongst police personnel remains cornerstone of the policy of @assampolice Hq,” he further wrote.He warned that no policeman found to have indulged in an act of sexual misconduct or moral turpitude would be spared.The police said they were investigating the case after recording the statements of the girl and others.
