Anantapur: At least seven agricultural labourers were killed in a road accident after a lorry carrying mangoes overturned in Annamayya district on Sunday night.Sources said the lorry, which had been loaded with mangoes at Railway Kodur and was heading towards Rajampet, was carrying around 17 farm workers who had been engaged to harvest mangoes. The accident occurred near Reddypalli Cheruvu Katta in Pullampet mandal.Seven workers died on the spot, while others sustained serious injuries. Police rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the Rajampet government hospital. Rescue teams and police personnel cleared the road and restored traffic movement.
