2 Govt. Officials in ACB Net in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday registered a case of criminal misconduct against Paindla Sunil, a Mandal Surveyor in Peddapalli, and Katukuri Rajender Reddy, a private person in connection with a bribe case. The ACB officials said Sunil had demanded the bribe amount of Rs.10,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour to furnish the survey panchanama copy of the land pertaining to the complainant, and instructed him to send the amount online to Reddy. Accordingly, on August 9, the complainant transferred an amount of Rs.10,000 online to Reddy. The officials said Sunil performed his duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage. Therefore, Sunil and Reddy were being arrested and produced before the special court for ACB cases in Karimnagar. The details of the complainant are withheld for security reasons. In a separate case, Gadiyaram Srinivasulu, a junior assistant at PHC Angaraajpalli and in-charge of Kotapalli PHC in Mancherial district, was caught red-handed by ACB officials when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.6,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour. The bribe was demanded for preparing two DA arrear bills and submitting the same to the DDO, Kotapalli PHC, pertaining to the complainant. The tainted bribe amount of Rs.6,000 was recovered from the possession of Srinivasulu.
