NIZAMABAD: Stuck up of railway gates at Madhavanagar in Nizamabad adversely affected the vehicular traffic. The railway staff closed the railway gates near Madhavanagar Sai Baba temple for passing of a passenger train. Madhavnagar is located on Nizamabad-Hyderabad road. While lifting gates after passing of train, the gates were stuck up. As a result, the railway staff were unable to completely lift the gates upside or down. The vehicle drivers faced a tough situation to pass from Madhavanagar railway bridge area. The railway gate staff personally halted the vehicular traffic, while coming of other trains in the route. The risky affair continued on Friday. Due to railway over bridge works at Madhavanagar, major vehicle traffic including TGRTC buses diverted from Kanteshwar bypass road. Only two wheelers, autos, SUVs are passing through Madhavanagar railway gate area. The people demanded for immediate completion of railway over bridge works.
